Abstract	The paper tries to focus on the emigration rates, social conditions of the emigrants and return emigrants. It also understands who becomes better off in the emigration process. Based on the obtained result it could be understood that the Kerala Model of growth could be sustained apart from the emigration numbers which means remittances.
