Abstract	Societal structures have consistently been shaped by novel changes and inventions, resulting in the profound transformation of society from its initial state. This is exemplified by the stark contrast between the primitive conditions of early human existence, where individuals lacked basic necessities like proper food, clothing, home and the present day, where humanity has achieved the remarkable feat of landing on the moon. One such transformative phenomenon is the advent of social media technology, which has become an integral part of contemporary life. This research paper examines the influence of social media on society and elucidates the resultant changes that are manifest in the lives of societal members.
