Abstract | Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, with subdural hematoma (SDH) being one of the most common and critical sequelae. Early and accurate diagnosis of SDH is essential for effective management and patient outcomes. This study explores the clinical utility of multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) in the assessment of SDH in TBI patients. MDCT, with its high resolution and rapid imaging capabilities, offers superior detection, localization, and characterization of hemorrhagic lesions compared to conventional imaging techniques. |
