Abstract The rapid growth of the hospitality industry has led to the increased demand for efficient hotel management systems. Traditional systems, often based on manual processes or web-based platforms, have limitations in terms of accessibility and flexibility. This paper presents the development of a Hotel Management System (HMS) utilizing Android technology, offering a mobile-first approach to enhance operational efficiency, user satisfaction, and accessibility. The system automates key hotel operations, including booking management, guest check-ins/outs, room service requests, and billing, providing real-time data and notifications for both guests and staff. This research outlines the system architecture, the development process, and the benefits of using Android as the platform of choice for such systems.
