Author(s) Monika katewa, Dr. Imran khan
Country India
Abstract Fluoride is vital for dental health, promoting enamel remineralization and reducing decay risk. However, both low and high fluoride levels in drinking water pose health risks. Jhunjhunu district, Rajasthan, exhibits significant spatial variability in fluoride concentrations (0.3–1.4 ppm), resulting in dental health issues.

Study Area and Methodology:
• Conducted in Udaipurwati, Chirawa, and Pilani blocks across 68 villages.
• Villages categorized into four groups based on fluoride levels (<0.5, 0.5–1, 1–1.05, ≥2 ppm).
• Data collected through groundwater sampling, fluoride analysis (ion-selective electrodes), and dental health surveys among 480
Keywords Low fluoride level, dental health, tooth decay, fluoride supplement, jhunjhunu .
