Abstract | The Internet of Things (IoT) has revolutionized the way individuals and organizations interact with their environment by connecting everyday objects to the internet. However, as IoT devices proliferate, the security risks associated with them have also escalated. This paper explores the vital role of cybersecurity in IoT, examining the vulnerabilities and potential threats faced by IoT devices, the importance of securing IoT ecosystems, and the various strategies to mitigate these risks. Furthermore, the paper highlights the impact of cybersecurity on the adoption of IoT technologies and its implications for both consumers and businesses. |
