Abstract This research explores the timeless relevance of Kautilya’s Arthashastra and its Mandala Theory in contemporary diplomacy and statecraft tackling three main questions. Drawing from ancient texts, modern interpretations, and innovative frameworks, the study bridges historical wisdom with present-day geopolitics. By introducing original mathematical formulas and family-based analogies, it simplifies the Mandala Theory to demonstrate its adaptability across diverse contexts. Integrating insights from extensive scholarly resources and creative interpretations, this work sheds light on Kautilya’s enduring principles, offering a fresh perspective on strategic planning, governance, and international relations. Through this thesis, ancient strategies are reimagined to inspire solutions for modern global challenges.
