Abstract | This research aims at exploring the manner in which utilization of AI can improve grant management and control in Kenya in considerations of features including compliance, functionality, and social value. Data were collected in parallel from policymakers and grant administrators, AI developers, and 120 community members. The findings endorsed that AI like IBM Watson and AutoML of Google boosted the probabilities of the conformity regulating for anomaly differentiation, which led to the enhancement of the manual errors that were cut down by 70%. However, significant ethical questions that relate to privacy and fairness of the algorithm emerged as significant questions. The quantitative analysis indicated significant increases in the rates of compliance efficiency where the AI system was implemented (78.4%) and in the accuracy of anomaly detection where the model was used (85.6%). The regression analysis indicated that AI generated increased efficiency by 7.8% for every 10% rise in its usage (R² = 0.78). The further research should focus on the application of AI on a larger scale in different spheres of governance and ways of advancing the intended regulation’s goals and meeting the potential socio-economic impacts. |
