Abstract | Papaya (Carica papaya) is an important tropical fruit crop, widely cultivated in Andhra Pradesh due to its favorable climate and soil conditions. This paper explores the various aspects of papaya cultivation in the region, including climatic requirements, soil preferences, cultivation practices, pest and disease management, and economic benefits. The study highlights the role of papaya cultivation in enhancing rural livelihoods and contributing to the agricultural economy of Andhra Pradesh. |
