Abstract This review paper examines the relationships between teaching effectiveness, work motivation, and professional commitment among secondary school teachers. A comprehensive analysis of existing literature reveals that these three factors are closely interrelated and have significant impacts on educational outcomes. Higher levels of work motivation and professional commitment are generally associated with greater teaching effectiveness. However, the relationships are complex and influenced by various individual, organizational, and contextual factors. This paper synthesizes key findings, identifies gaps in current knowledge, and provides recommendations for future research and practice to enhance teaching quality in secondary education.
