Proactive Risk Assessment in Cctv using Hand Gesture Recognition and Geolocation Based Alerts

Abstract	This system enhances CCTV surveillance by integrating hand gesture recognition and geolocation-based alerts for proactive risk assessment. Traditional systems rely on manual monitoring and basic motion detection, often missing critical threats. By utilizing OpenPose for gesture recognition and MediaPipe for feature extraction, the system detects high-risk gestures, such as clenched fists or aggressive pointing, and automatically alerts nearby authorities via SMS, email, and mobile notifications. Geolocation-based alerts ensure timely responses, improving security and public safety. This approach offers a more intelligent and responsive alternative to conventional CCTV monitoring, reducing threat detection and response time
