Abstract	This study aims to examine the role of physical assets in driving the financial performance of State Bank of India (SBI), India's largest bank. It seeks to understand the relationship between various physical assets and SBI's financial performance, providing insights into the strategic implications of tangible resources in the banking industry. Methodology: The study utilizes data from the CMIE Prowess database, covering the period from 2011-12 to 2022-23, to analyze the relationship between physical assets and financial performance. Multiple regression analysis is employed to assess the impact of different physical assets on Return on Assets (ROA), while correlation analysis is conducted to determine the associations between security measures and financial performance.
