Abstract | Unorganized workers need to be targeted for the skill development which will maximize their efficiency and will improve their standard of living and will help in the economic growth of the nation. Government and Private bodies have initiated several skill development programmes for the unorganized workers. This paper describes few of these Initiatives to understand the mechanisms as well as some limitations and shortfall of such skill development programmes. |
