Abstract | To combat poverty, inequality, inadequate healthcare, environmental destruction, and other issues by the year 2030 and to create a peaceful world, the United Nations created a list of 17 global goals known as sustainable development goals. As of today, 193 nations have ratified these goals, with India being one of them. Due to numerous factors, including ignorance, poverty, a lack of knowledge, the high cost of litigation, and many others, the traditional approach to social justice was based on the Locus Standi principle, which states that only the victim can go to court to seek redress in a particular case. However, this approach was insufficient to establish social justice and protect human rights worldwide, so it was necessary to liberalize the Locus Standi principle. |
