Abstract | Bio concrete is a type of concrete which fills the voids developed in a civil structure due to presence of bacteria. The cracks are formed due to various activities like evaporation, shrinkage, land slip, vibration etc. Bacteria helps in formation of limestone. When calcium lactate reacts with water, limestone is formed which helps to fill the voids present. The void formation can be analysed by XRD and SEM analysis. |
