Author(s) Rajas Shah
Country India
Abstract A Discounted Cash Flow - based analysis of the Levelized Cost of Energy for the lowest Solar PV bid of INR 2.44 / kWh, and a model that estimates the same to within 10% of bid value - obtaining a tariff of INR 2.67 /kWh. Followed by a Deterministic Sensitivity Analysis of the key factors affecting LCOE, and a qualitative analysis of the policy factors, financial mix decisions and technological improvements that shape the variation in the lowest Solar PV tariff bids, from 2010 Launch of the JNNSM to 2017, when the analysed bid was recorded.
