Abstract The literature review examines the role of case studies in teaching business ethics in Institutions of Higher Learning. Business ethics is an important discipline that involves making ethical decisions in the context of business organizations. Case studies provide a valuable tool for educators to engage students in critical thinking and ethical decision-making by applying theoretical concepts to real-world situations. This review explores the benefits, challenges, and best practices associated with using case studies in teaching business ethics, as well as the impact of case studies on student learning outcomes. The findings highlight the effectiveness of case studies in promoting active learning, fostering ethical awareness, and developing ethical decision-making capabilities in students.
