AA6063 and AA6951 Aluminum Alloy Billet Casting Parameter and Heat Treatment Optimization

Abstract In this study; The properties of billets of 3 different diameters of AA6063 and AA6951 aluminum alloys were investigated by trying different methods. In line with this study, the properties of the alloys were investigated by comparing the casting and homogenization parameters of alloys of different sizes. The metallographic and mechanical analyzes of the samples were made and presented in the tables. Casting and homogenization parameters providing the most suitable parameter were determined according to the values.
