Abstract The Indian National Congress that have been dominating the politics of one of India's Northeastern state of Manipur, has decline so much so that in the latest Assembly election 2022 got just 5 seats out of 60 seats. So this paper is an attempt to analyse the factors for its Decline and Downfall.
