Abstract | This study investigates hip flexor tightness in young adults aged 18-25, focusing on its prevalence and potential contributing factors. A representative sample of 385 participants was involved, and 94.3% of them showed tightness. Sedentary behavior and decreased physical activity were identified as contributing factors. The findings emphasize the importance of addressing hip flexor tightness, as it can lead to discomfort, compromised movement patterns, and decreased quality of life. The study emphasizes the need for interventions promoting regular physical activity and ergonomic practices. Further research is recommended to explore the causal factors and long-term consequences of hip flexor tightness. |
