Leadership Styles and Performance of SMEs

Abstract In this paper we raise a key question, “do leadership Styles affect performance levels of SMEs?” The objective of such a question is to examine the influence of different styles of leadership on the performance of small businesses. In a sample of small enterprise borrowers of a DFI we find that there exists a relationship between the style of leadership and performance.
