Abstract | Start-ups are young companies founded to develop a unique product or service, bring it to market and make it irresistible and irreplaceable for customers. The government provides funding and financial assistance to start-ups through various schemes and programs. This helps start-ups to get the necessary resources to start and grow their businesses. By availing these benefits, start-ups can have a significant advantage over their competitors. The new ventures have been provided financial supportalso by Venture Capital Funds, Private Equity investors, Angel Investors, High Net worth Individuals (HNIs), incubators, accelerators, seed funds and by the government. There have been examples of Governments supporting early stage funding. The present research paper aims to discuss various financing schemes recently started by the government. It also examines the financing options for a new venture. |
