Abstract The primary objective of research is to classify the available literature, focusing on the significance of green human resource management (GHRM) practices in relation to environmental management and organisational sustainability. The objective of this research is to examine the influence of human resource management practices, including training and development, performance appraisal, and reward and compensation, on the long-term viability of organisations. This investigation also aims to explore the mediating effect of environmental performance in this relationship.
