Abstract | The Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings in August 1945 forever altered both Japanese and global history. Beyond the immediate death toll and destruction, the country's economy was profoundly and irrevocably impacted by these events. A comprehensive analysis of the financial impacts of the atomic bombs on Japan from the immediate post-war period to the contemporary is the goal of this research work. |
