Abstract | Succulents, popular group of terrestrial plants known for their unique appearance and ability to thrive in tropical arid environments. They can be vegetatively propagated through cuttings and seeds, also through in vitro propagation mass plantlets can be produced. Tissue culture raised plantlets have a number of advantages over traditional propagation methods, such as ability to produce large numbers of plants from a small amount of starting material, plants with free of pests, diseases and the ability to produce plants that are resistant to adverse environmental conditions. In this review, various results and discussion regarding different concentrations of plant growth regulators for multiplication, rooting of succulents with effective growth condition are described. |
