Abstract	Prof. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad who got two Kendra Sahitya Akademi awards for his great literature. he got his this two awards for the novels "Yayati" and "Draupadi" in Telugu. The first novel is translated from Marathi to Telugu and he made lot of changes during the translation. the second novel is from direct Telugu but he made changes of the character Draupadi which is different from kavitraya Mahabharat's Draupadi character. in this article I tried to found the changes made in the both novels which awarded by Kendra Sahitya Akademi.
