Abstract The concept of mind serves as a powerful tool in understanding the link between mind and brain. The mind has a special influence on neuroscience, so it can be said that the mind has an immense role in the discussion of neuroscience. In the present study, we will attempt to examine the impact of Indian and Western thinkers' conceptions of mind on neuroscience through a comparative discussion. I will also try to find out what different philosophical communities have discussed about the mind.
