Abstract Food safety must be guaranteed if a country is to progress and succeed economically. India faces several challenges in protecting its food supply due to its fast-increasing urbanization, population expansion, and thriving economy. Food contamination in agriculture is caused by a number of factors, including the overuse of pesticides, the use of growth hormones, and contact with hazardous waste.
