Author(s) Laavanyaa Ramesh

Abstract Corporate personhood, the legal recognition of corporations as entities with rights and responsibilities like those of individuals, has been a contentious topic globally. In India, this concept has been subject to debate and scrutiny, with limited attention given to its societal implications. This research paper seeks to bridge this gap by investigating the multifaceted ways in which corporate personhood influences and shapes Indian society. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the study aims to analyse the legal, economic, cultural, and ethical dimensions of corporate personhood, shedding light on its impact on various stakeholders.
