Abstract | A community that lasts and includes everyone can only be created by ensuring that everyone, especially the underprivileged children, feels pleased and supported. During the difficult COVID-19 times, the Pehchaan NGO, run by Mr. Ratnesh Mathur and his staff in Lucknow, has been a ray of hope. They have been working nonstop to provide impoverished kids with the education, healthcare, and support they require to flourish. Lucknow -based NGO - Pehchaan has been actively involved in a number of community service projects since its establishment in October 2019 and official registration in August 2021. These projects range from relief efforts for COVID-19 to educational endeavors in rural areas including Etawah, Auraiya, Lucknow, and Allahabad. The group responded to the epidemic quickly and thoroughly, offering vital assistance including food distribution, migrant transportation, and flood relief operations. Pehchaan’s all-encompassing strategy also addresses long-term issues including environmental sustainability, economic empowerment, and education promotion in addition to providing short-term assistance. In addition to helping underprivileged kids, its awareness efforts, donation drives, and adoption programs have promoted a sense of civic duty and responsibility. Pehchaan’s work has a lasting effect on a variety of fields, including youth participation, environmental conservation, healthcare, and education. Their endeavors are an expression of their dedication to community service and progress, encapsulating the values of empathy, agency, and longevity. |
