Abstract | Gandhi was a man of activity. His philosophy as a whole should be considered alongside his economic ideas. Gandhi believed that first and foremost, each person's basic needs should be met before he or she could consider participating in politics or other societal activities. Gandhi was agreeable to house, limited scope enterprises and reception of 'Swadesi'. He places a high value on rural development in its entirety. People will gain employment and the village will become self-sufficient as a result. Therefore, it is necessary to return to Gandhian economic ideology. The significance of Gandhi's economic ideas is the primary focus of this paper. |
