Abstract Routing in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) is a critical process that enables sensor nodes to communicate with each other and transmit data to a central sink or base station. The role of intermediate nodes is to forward the message to the destination quickly and without any alteration. The entire process of forwarding a message from source to destination is called as routing.
