Fixed Point Theorems by Generalized distance Function in Ordered Metric Spaces

Abstract Fixed point theory in partially ordered metric spaces has greatly developed in recent times. In this article we prove certain fixed point theorems for multi valued and single valued mappings in such spaces, by using altering distance function. Our results extend some existing results.
