Emotion Regulation and Self Esteem among PCOS and non-PCOS Women

Abstract The present study aims to compare emotional regulation and self-esteem among PCOS women and non-PCOS women. A total of 42 clinically diagnosed PCOS women and 42 non-PCOS women were selected from various districts in Kerala. The participants were given the Emotional Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) and Rosenberg Self-esteem Scale to measure emotional regulation and self-esteem respectively. After examining the normality, parametric statistics were used. The study result shows that there is no significant difference in emotional regulation and self-esteem among PCOs and non-PCOS women. Another finding that no significant relationship between emotional regulation and self-esteem among PCOS and non-PCOS women
